deliveries and deadlines:

All of my opportunities to become literate in new media and writing technologies have lead me to this very moment, my current literacy level. The culmination of my literacy narrative, at least this current chapter, is using all the technologically savvy skills I have developed throughout my life to write, read, study, and use my cell-phone recreationally while working.

I work 5-7 days a week doing deliveries here in Orlando for the very well known Uber Eats service many of us have come to love. Though it pays very well and I can always expect a new experience every time I turn on my ignition, it does consume a rather large amount of my time, and quite a bit of mobile data, (if this is something that you might want to do you must have unlimited data).

As a full-time worker and full-time college student I have had to find ways to adapt to my busy schedule, and I have also had to adopt skills to be a better multitasker with the help of the writing, sound, and digital technologies available to me.

A typical day consists of checking my email in between deliveries, listening to chapters or books I need to read through their audiobook format so that I am prepared and knowledgeable in the materials I need to have studied for when I take quizzes, write discussions, or essays. Days when my work hours and assignments overlap, I take my laptop with me and hotspot my mobile data as wifi so that I can make sure to never miss an assignment. However, the most important thing to keep in mind is to always bring a charger and turn assignments in early.
